About Stocktrade.wiki

Stocktrade.wiki is an independent information portal for comparing stock brokers, ETF platforms and trading apps. We publish broker reviews, rankings, comparisons and educational guides designed to help readers choose an account more carefully.

Our Mission

We believe that choosing a broker should be based on clear costs, regulation, investor protection, product fit and realistic risk information. Our mission is to make broker decisions easier to compare without turning investing into hype.

What We Do

  • Independent editorial ratings of stock brokers, ETF platforms and trading apps
  • Detailed reviews covering fees, regulation, investor protection, platforms and product availability
  • Educational articles about broker choice, ETF investing, fees, CFDs and account safety
  • Comparison pages that help readers decide between similar brokers
  • Regular updates when fees, products, regulation or account terms change

Our Methodology

Every broker rating is based on multiple criteria, including total cost, regulation, investor protection, product access, platform quality, investor fit, support, reputation and transparency. Affiliate relationships do not determine editorial ratings.

Editorial Standards

We separate real stocks and ETFs from CFDs, options, futures, margin and crypto exposure.
We flag when fees, product availability or investor protection can vary by country or legal entity.
We do not present active trading, leverage or copy trading as default beginner behavior.
We link methodology, editorial policy and disclaimer pages so readers can understand how reviews are built.

How StockTrade is funded

StockTrade may earn affiliate revenue when readers use some broker links, but affiliate relationships do not determine broker ratings, ranking order, risk warnings or editorial conclusions. Commercial availability is treated separately from editorial fit.

What we do not do

  • We do not provide personal investment, tax or legal advice.
  • We do not promise returns or present any broker as risk-free.
  • We do not treat investor compensation schemes as protection against normal market losses.
  • We do not recommend margin, CFDs, options, crypto or short-term trading as default beginner behavior.

How reviews are updated

Broker pages are reviewed when there is a meaningful reason to revisit the conclusion: fee-table changes, new account entities, product availability updates, changes to investor-protection wording, platform changes or reader-relevant regulatory news. We do not treat a broker rating as permanent.

Fee and product changes: commissions, FX conversion, custody, transfer fees, CFDs, options, bonds, ETFs and cash programs.
Entity and protection changes: regulator, compensation scheme, client asset treatment and country onboarding rules.
Reader fit changes: platform usability, account minimums, reporting documents, recurring investing tools and support quality.

How readers should use StockTrade

StockTrade is built as a decision aid. A strong broker page should help you reduce the shortlist, understand the main trade-offs and know which official documents to verify. The final account decision still depends on your residence, tax situation, account currency, portfolio size, product permissions and risk tolerance.
