Editorial and research teams

StockTrade uses team bylines for broker reviews, rankings, comparisons and guides. Each role supports a different part of the editorial workflow: research, review or data context.

How our byline workflow works

Team bylines keep the focus on the research process rather than a single personality. The workflow is designed for broker selection topics where fees, legal entity, country availability and product type can materially change the answer.

Research brief

We define the reader question, country context, broker entities, products, fees and risk areas before drafting a review, ranking or guide.

Evidence check

We compare broker disclosures, fee schedules, platform information, investor-protection language and internal broker records before publishing conclusions.

Editorial review

A review pass checks whether the page separates real stocks and ETFs from CFDs, options, margin, crypto, bonds and other product-specific risks.

Update trigger

Pages can be revisited when broker fees, account terms, product access, regulation, compensation schemes or disclosure language materially change.

Editorial independence

StockTrade may earn affiliate revenue when readers use some broker links, but commercial relationships do not determine ratings, ranking order, risk warnings or editorial conclusions. Our authors and reviewers are expected to identify uncertainty, country differences and product limitations instead of smoothing them over.

Where author checks appear

Author and reviewer work is reflected across broker reviews, country rankings, broker comparisons and investing guides. The same editorial checks repeat across those page types so readers see consistent risk language and can move between hubs without losing context.

Broker reviews

Entity, fees, products, platform quality, investor protection and account-fit checks.

Country rankings

Local availability, tax-document practicality, account currency and compensation-scheme context.

Broker comparisons

Side-by-side fit signals, red flags, winner rows and next-step verification checks.

Guides

Education around fees, CFDs, account types, transfers, FX conversion and product permissions.

Authors

Research and review teams that create original broker, ETF and investing content.

Reviewers

Editorial reviewers who check accuracy, risk language, methodology and reader usefulness.

Data Providers

Data and research partners that support market, broker and platform context.
